A 3-year Erasmus+ project that aims to improve and develop higher education teachers' pedagogical and professional competences in the field of sustainable timber construction.
Aim is to develop student centered innovative pedagogical competences of teachers to be used in education of students in the field of sustainable timber construction. Pedagogical competences will include teaching in online and blended environments using trans-disciplinary project based learning (PBL) and learning by developing.
Aim is to develop professional competences of teachers to be used in education of students in the field of sustainable timber construction. Development of competences will be based on sharing of expertise among participants from different countries and universities. New topics will be introduced and new teaching materials, including laboratory assignments specifically created to help assimilate theoretic concepts through hands-on experiments.
Aim is to apply acquired competences in education of students and disseminate the results. Existing courses in each partner school will be upgraded and a summer school will be organized to student's of the partner institutions. The final results of the project will be disseminated at the Final Dissemination Conference.
